A 17-year old program, the WTS Mid-Career Leadership Program accepted Asma Ali, P.E., into its 2017 class. This program contributes to the professional development of women who have demonstrated the potential to enhance their leadership skills and advance in the transportation industry.
Asma joined T3 Design team over 10 years ago and in that tenure has assumed increasing levels of responsibility and management within the firm. This program is designed to develop her leadership skills to further both her personal career goals, as well as T3 organizational goals that involve increasing opportunities and responsibilities for women to advance into higher levels of management.
While participating in this Washington, D.C. transportation experience, Asma will meet key leaders within the industry and learn to apply the following course objectives:
Influence others without using positional power
Improve relationships with people at all levels of power based on current neuroscience research
Coach and develop others
Identify changes within the transportation industry to plan for the future
Prepare and follow through on a personal career development plan
